We love lefties! In fact, Alembic founder Ron Wickersham is left-handed and over the years we've had many left-handed craftsmen here.
Once upon a time, we did charge extra for left-handed instruments. Back then, Ron would reverse the tapers on the pots, but the
feedback we received from players was that is was confusing switching between instruments with right-handed tapers. Since about 1995
left-handed is a no charge option, whether you string right- or left-handed. Your lefty Alembic will be setup by a left-handed player.
